Petone Physio provides the local community with pilates classes and falls prevention/arthritis classes.

Our classes provide a safe environment to aid in rehabilitation and prevention of injuries and are run by our physiotherapists to ensure safety and attention to individual needs.


MATWORK Pilates classes

Pilates is low impact intelligent exercise that will help you to become more aware of how your body moves. When practised regularly pilates’ will improve your posture, strength and flexibility. It can help improve your balance, stability, bone density and help with pain management.

Whether you need assistance recovering from an injury, want to enhance  your current exercise regime or improve your general fitness and function, matwork Pilates can help you.

Our classes are all physiotherapist lead and class sizes small, allowing you to get individual attention if needed. You will be assessed prior to class so we understand your specific needs and you can  exercise safely and effectively.

Classes may include the use of various equipment including resistance bands, weights, pilates rings and foam rollers.

8am – 9am (venue Anahata Yoga Studio, Unit 4 Doreen Dolan Mall, 2 doors down from the clinic)

10am - 11am (venue Anahata Yoga Studio, Unit 4 Doreen Dolan Mall, 2 doors down from the clinic)

Wednesday
5:15pm – 6:15pm (venue Thumbs Up Hall, 5 Elizabeth Street, Petone)

Thursday
8am – 9am (venue Anahata Yoga Studio, Unit 4 Doreen Dolan Mall, 2 doors down from the clinic)

Classes range from beginner to moderate level classes and varying abilities can be accommodated for on an individual basis.

$18 per class or;
10 class concession cards can be purchased – $162
